PretiredA pre-tired task is a task that has either: a. Has not been viewed upon by a rotating board of SF Cops of the Month, children, the cast of Jurassic Park, Nasia and Stanton Reddy and as such has not been accepted into the list of acceptable tasks as of the present time.
b. Has been viewed upon by a rotating board of SF Cops of the Month, children, the cast of Jurassic Park, Nasia and Stanton Reddy, and said party did not believe the task was suitably appropriate to take places in praxis, when said places should be filled by tasks of a higher quality.
"Pretired" used as an adjective is a neologism constructed when it was found that the display mechanics of the SF0 site originally listed yet-to-be-active tasks with a status of "retired." It is a kind of portmanteau recognizing that the site displayed these tasks as "retired," though they hadn't been activated for players to sign up. The term "pre-tired" has since been used in the display of the "inactive button," which is shown as a gray box (driven by a class selector in the cascading stylesheet for the site), causing these types of inactive tasks to be labeled "this task is pre-tired."
