Proof

(TODO: expand) (TODO: add "guide for your first proof submission")

Proof is whatever you need to prove that you completed the task (Documentation).

Photographs are the main way of providing proof. Many players will not strongly consider a proof without photographs, and you should always include at least one photograph (in order to get a thumbnail picture for your task, so that it can show up on the praxis and the main SF0 page).

Text describing what happened and what you thought about is also very important.

SF0 also allows you the opportunity to embed multimedia in your proof. If you can do this, it generally makes for a more impressive proof.

How to add files There are few ways to upload your proof for completed tasks to SF0.

1. Upload directly from you computer

Just click the "browse" button, select a file and hit "upload"
If your camera has an auto rotate function images will be automatically rotated once uploaded.
(If you notice your pictures are rotated when you upload, try using the software found here) Horizontal images are displayed at 400 X 300 pixels at 72 dpi.
Vertical images are displayed at 375 X 500 pixels at 72 dpi.
For faster uploads resize your images to these sizes.

2. Upload from another URL.

If the file you want to use is already online, just enter the URL into the field.

3. Upload through email

Email your_username@sf0.org attaching any files you want to upload to the email (If you have replace "your_username" with your actual SF0 username). This is useful for uploading a bunch of files at the same time. If you're using Apple Mail, be sure to check "use windows friendly attachments". These files will go into your SF0 media folder which you can access when submitting proof for tasks or editing already-completed tasks.

4. Leave yourself a message

Call 415-992-5107 from the phone number you entered in your account settings, and leave a message. Your message will be placed in your SF0 folder as an mp3 file. This is a great way of documenting your tasks on-the-go.

How to submit After you've added content to your task completion page, you are probably ready to hit the "submit" button.

Try to avoid submitting proofs that will get you flagged.
